Story about Ask Dr. Sun
The “Ask Dr. Sun” blog was created by Dr. Grace Sun in January 2009. Ask Dr. Sun was intended to be a frequently updated Question and Answer format blog, including relevant dental health questions and thoughts that inquiring minds might want to know!

When “Ask Dr. Sun” started back in January, our blog was being hosted on a small Wordpress site which met our needs as a small, personable dental blog. Over the months, the blog grew in popularity and relevance to people’s lives, which is why in the summer of 2009, “Ask Dr. Sun” moved to Toothmingle, a new information hub with mostly the same information as before, just on an easier to use, easier to access website all its own. Dr. Sun and her staff have created Toothmingle to be your number one destination for dental tips, information and all things dental – the information comes directly from the source, from Dr. Sun herself in her West Hollywood boutique practice.

Dr. Grace sun has very extensive training in all aspects of dentistry; since graduating from USC dental school, her continuous advanced dental studies, natural talent and compassion has earned multiple awards from different dental societies. Dr. Sun is an accredited Fellow of The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, which holds a distinguish honor in the largest cosmetic dental association in the world with over 7,000 members. Dr. Sun also been awarded as a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry, holding the highest credentials with the largest dental association for continuing education in the United States. Dr. Sun also has been awarded Educator status and Mastership of The Academy of Laser Dentistry, Fellow of The International Congress of Facial Esthetics, and Fellow of The International Congress of Implantologists. Dr. Sun lectures locally and internationally and publishes articles to share her knowledge with her dental colleagues, so more patients can benefit from her wide dentistry knowledge base.
The Ask Dr. Sun blog was born due to Dr. Sun’s compassion for dentistry, and her willingness to reach out and share her knowledge with the public, empowering the reader, to promote a more positive experience and impression toward dentistry in the mind of the patient.
Topics in the blog cover all aspects of dentistry, from cosmetic, orthodontic
(braces), periodontic (gum and jawbone), TMJ
(TemporoMandibular Joint), systemic relations with dentistry, and anything else that can be related to your dental health and general well being. The contents are intended to be informative, objective and practical for your review.
This is macro blogging (similar to a wiki), and is meant to be an info center for dental Q&A mixed with current dental advancement.
The blog layout presents the most resent posts, but all posts are current and relevant; we are observing the growth of the blog and will continue to improve content indexing for easier topic location, and for finding the information most important to you.
Welcome to our Ask Dr. Sun info center! It is here for you!
