66. Veneers

Wafer-thin layers of tooth-colored material (composite or porcelain) that are bonded to the surface of a tooth to create a desired form and color.

67. Vertical Dimension

A measurement of the face at the midline, with teeth in proper occlusion; This similarly includes the space provided by the height of a person’s teeth in normal occlusion. It decreases with aging and excessive grinding.
