31. Epinephrine
A vasoconstrictor usually added to certain anesthetics to achieve a better numbing effect.
32. Fluoride
A reduced form of fluorine, most commonly applied topically to the surface of a tooth by way of mouth rinses or toothpastes for re-mineralization and de-sensitization of teeth.
33. Fluorosis
Mottled enamel caused by excessive fluoride intake.
34. Gingiva
(Gum) The mucous membrane tissue that immediately surrounds a tooth.
35. Gingivitis
Inflammation of gingival tissues characterized clinically by changes in color, form, surface or appearance in tissue, with the presence of bleeding or exudate; Also Known as Type I periodontal disease.
